Sarah Bourne

Sarah Bourne

Sarah Bourne is a well-enthusiastic, HSPC-registered Occupational Therapist who has moved from Australia to the UK and is very passionate. She describes the key to lifelong disabilities as a field of concern and has been on the path of gaining knowledge through committed work across different healthcare sectors throughout her career. Previously, she had been a major operator in this organisation in Australia, where she was on a mindful mission to empower disabled people towards self-reliance. To accomplish this goal, Sarah engaged in a comprehensive approach by implementing solutions through assistive technology, skill development, and house modifications. She has tailored assistance.

On top of her clinical responsibilities, Sarah was an amazing leader in the team, where she led a group of people from varying disciplines, encouraging their career development and managing their professional growth. Apart from her significant contribution to aiding new graduates, she was instrumental in ensuring the delivery of optimal services as well as the development of a community of positive and dedicated individuals. Sarah Bourne is an expert in both children and adults, and she has also undertaken additional training in complex driving assessments and specialised seating. Additionally, she makes use of the evidence-based CO-OP approach in her interventions, which helps clients attain their aims.

Fueled by a true love for Occupational Therapy, the main thing Sarah enjoys the most is watching her clients’ improvement. Her patient and caring manner, together with her understanding, creates a powerful link with her clients, thus helping the relationship between them and ultimately leading to a healthy lifestyle.

Sarah not only loves to hike and travel during her weekends away from her chosen career, but she is also very sentimental towards her friends and pets. She is very much interested in a horse called Wally, a dog named Laya, and a duck called Quackers. Sarah Bourne is ecstatic at the thought of being able to learn new skills by working in another country and providing Occupational Therapy to more of you.
