Robyn Carter-Wale is a highly experienced Consultant Podiatric Surgeon with over 20 years’ service across London NHS Trusts. Her career spans community and acute settings, giving her a broad, multidisciplinary clinical perspective and a strong foundation in both routine and complex foot care.
She currently holds a consultant role with Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust and practises privately at Chase Lodge Hospital, where she provides specialist advice, injection therapies and surgical procedures for forefoot and midfoot problems. Robyn has performed more than 5,000 foot and ankle procedures, including bunion correction, toe deformity surgery, tendon and soft tissue interventions, arthritic foot reconstruction, and high-risk diabetic limb salvage.
A qualified independent prescriber and CASE-accredited sonographer, she has advanced training in lower limb anaesthesia and injection therapies. Her practice is defined by excellent clinical outcomes, low complication rates, and a compassionate, patient-centred approach focused on long-term wellbeing.
Alongside her clinical work, Robyn contributes to education and research at a national level, including teaching on Brunel University’s Foot and Ankle Musculoskeletal Ultrasound programme. She is a published author and remains active in her role with the Royal College Faculty of Podiatric Surgery research strategy group.
