Dr Mohammad Zaki Hasan is a Consultant Gastroenterologist. He has over 12 years of experience providing both endoscopy and outpatient gastroenterology services. He graduated from Ziauddin Medical University, Pakistan, in 2001 and completed specialist training in General Medicine and Gastroenterology through the South West London Deanery, including placements at St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust.
Dr Hasan holds an MSc in Nutritional Medicine from the University of Surrey, complementing his expertise in gastrointestinal disorders with a focus on diet and lifestyle. He is highly experienced in colonoscopy, gastroscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, inflammatory bowel disease, gastrointestinal cancers, and liver and pancreatic conditions. His procedures include colonoscopy and polypectomy, gastroscopy with biopsy, and flexible sigmoidoscopy with polypectomy.
He adopts a patient-centred approach, providing clear information, personalised care, and integrated treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Fluent in English and Urdu, with conversational understanding of Punjabi, Dr Hasan ensures patients feel supported and informed at every stage of their care. Outside of medicine, he enjoys fishing and restoring vintage cars, combining precision and patience in both his professional and personal life.
