Prior to medicine I read Pharmacology at King’s College London which provided an excellent grounding in the design and application of medicines. Following this, I completed graduate-entry medicine at Barts and The London SMD.
Throughout post-graduate training I have worked across North Central and East London hospitals gaining a wide range of experience. I have completed an advanced IBD rotation at University College Hospital, London, UK, and advanced nutrition rotation at The Royal London Hospital, London, UK, which included UEG Clinical Visiting Fellowship to Aarhus University Hospital, Denmark.
I am a member of the British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG) IBD Guideline Development Group currently working on the 2024 IBD guideline update. I hold the European Specialty Examination in Gastroenterology & Hepatology (ESEGH) Certification and gained JAG accreditation in both gastroscopy (OGD) and ileocolonoscopy. In 2025 I became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians.
