What Advice Can You Give For a Dental Emergency?
If you have a dental emergency, ideally you want to see a dentist, since going to a regular A&E or GP will not usually have the equipment and knowledge to treat your issue.
Try to stay calm and contact us as soon as possible. If you have severe pain, swelling or an injury, avoid putting pressure on the affected area and take care when eating or drinking.
If a tooth has been knocked out, try not to touch the root. Keep the tooth moist and bring it with you to your appointment if possible. If you have significant swelling, difficulty breathing or swallowing, seek urgent medical help.
