Benazir Chaudhury

I am Benazir Chaudhury Specialist Neurodevelopmental Nurse. As a specialist mental health nurse and Independent Prescriber, my professional career incorporates extensive experience within adult mental health services. This includes work across acute admission wards, Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT), and Psychiatric A&E liaison services. Additionally, my experience extends to Home Treatment Teams, Enhanced Primary Care services, and a national NHS Digital GP service.

Neurodevelopmental Expertise

Beyond adult mental health, my career has included Adult, Child, and Adolescent Neurodevelopmental services. This experience spans both NHS and private service settings. Specifically, my work has consisted of neurodevelopmental diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and prescribing medications.

Clinical Skills and Approach

A comprehensive background in Mental Health Nursing, both within digital and face-to-face contexts, has developed my outstanding clinical skills and extensive knowledge. Furthermore, excellent interpersonal and management skills enable me to be an effective, confident lead practitioner and mentor. Throughout my career, there has been a consistent drive to promote quality improvement initiatives, diversity, and inclusion within all services.
